What Did I Do
The Morning:
- We went to the first shot location and cleared everything that was in the way of our opening shot.- For the duration of all of these first shots i was holding the microphone and trying to get as close to the main character without getting in the shot.
- We then moved on to our next shot location which was in the woods.
- At first i was continuing to focus on sound but then soon after I took the role of working the camera for a few of the shots.
- I started off by trying to get some low angled shots of our main character running and jumping over a log which involved me getting down to the floor in order to achieve our desired shot.
-We got a few more shots of the main character going for a run and then we decided that we had plenty of footage for this part of the opening title sequence.
The Afternoon:
- At 12:30 I gathered some of the people that were in the common room who we had previously arranged to take part in our sequence.
- As soon as we arrived at the football grounds we handed out the correct football kits to our actors/players. Half of them in stripes the other half in yellow.
- We started off by filming the final shot which is of a penalty. Which is actually going to be the final in the whole sequence. We thought it would be best to get it out of the way so that we don't have to worry about towards the end of the shoot.
-For this shot I basically instructed the goal keeper as well as the shot taker where they should shoot and where the keeper should dive in order to make it seem as realistic as possible.
-Then later on in the day I spent time just filming all of the players in their actual training session. However, what I did was I told half of them to wear yellow kit and the other half to wear the blue stripes so that when I was filming them it seemed as though they are all playing against one another in the match for the film.
By this point we had lots of footage and it was the end of our time at the pitch. But overall I think that we were all happy with all of the footage that we had gathered.
